Did you know….. about 3,500 brick-and-mortar animal shelters in the United States as of 2022 https://www.thezebra.com/resources/resea rch/pet-adoption-statistics Those partnering with SPCA & another organization such as the Humane Society –SPCA will vet all pigs by their vet and neuter all males at no charge- they will fundraise for neutering the pigs then adopt them into loving homes. Others will vaccinate, S/N, hoof trims, surgeries, & dental procedures. They are carefully screening those interested in adopting the pigs as they are unique pets.
